Rape is a tricky topic. And for some, consent is a grey area. High-profile cases like Ched Evans’s only muddy the water. Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police needed to clear up the confusion and show young people how simple it is to know when you have consent and when you don’t.

Our Don’t Mix It Up campaign uses young people’s reasoning, excuses, wrong ideas and language to educate rather than blame. It ran across print and social media, including a Snapchat campaign in schools and campuses across the West Midlands.

  • More than 1,000 people took a photo with the Stop Rape Now filter.
  • Almost 20,000 people viewed and swiped the filter.
  • More than 25,500 saw the campaign.
